Oscars 2014

I was pleasantly surprised by this years Oscars and found no difficulty in finding a few truly stunning looks to discuss. Personally I felt the top three best dressed were Lupita Nyong'o in Prada, Emma Watson in Vera Wang and Kate Hudson in Versace

 I love these three different styles and felt they were definitely the stand out women each adding their own touch of elegance to the Oscars. 

A few trends I noticed were...

There were quite a lot of nude embellished dresses, especially those of a more form-fitting variety.

The make up consensus was generally natural with slightly pink cheeks, nude or berry-toned lips and brown eye shadow. These lovely actresses were among the many who exhibited these make up trends this year.

All in all good job ladies on never failing to look amazing. Looking forward to seeing the styling from other red carpet events in 2014.
